I bought a new 2012 F150 FX2 for $29k. Run those numbers, then tell me the 2011 is a better deal.

Good for you, I am sure they are exceptions, but overall, buying a new vehicle when comparing to the same model but used is not wise. I say this admitting my wife's last two cars have been new. One advantage to new is once you know what you want, you can go find it and pick out once in a line vs. finding one at a dealer that may only have one model of the vehicle you want.

That is another thing that hurts a buyer. If you start getting real specific with colors and options, it gets real tough to negotiate. I usually want stuff like that so it kills me on my personal car.

Not sure what you mean. I've always played tennis. Eta: Accounting is my element. I fully expected this reaction since most here don't want anything interfering with their opinions. Also, there was the same reaction last time this thread was posted. I'm not backing down from something I know is right, that is unless every accounting professor & textbook at 2 major universities and the 5 total CPAs I was employed by are all wrong, not to mention countless business & consumer publications and reference guides & periodicals. However, if you are referring to adult males becoming hostile with a female calling her idiot, dumb twat, bitch, whore, etc., and manipulating her words for 2 days because they do not like her opinion and refuse to have a logical discussion, then yes, I am out of my element among the classless.
