Buddy of mine saw the LSU jet at the Midland, TX airport this morning, just wondering if there are any recruits on the radar in the area?

I don't know of any football guys on the radar out there. West Texas isn't usually a hotbed of talent. There is Midland College out there, so maybe the basketball or baseball team is looking at someone from the JC ranks.
There could be any number of other reasons as well, not even athletics or recruiting related.
ETA: This is a stretch, but there is a Jamaican 7 footer playing forward for Midland college that would be recruited for the '14 class. Shevon Thompson. I guess it's possible we're looking at him, or someone else on their roster.
