If you believe it is in certain cases but not others, please state when it changes and your reasoning. Also give reasoning for yes or no answers please

Doesn't quite add up. Either it is, or isn't. How the child is conceived predicates whether it is murder or not?

Early in the pregnancy, no. An embryo is not a sentient being and thus cannot be "murdered". Later in the pregnancy, when the fetus develops cognitive thought and a nervous system, a better case can be made that it is murder.

It's a justifiable murder if it is involuntary, imo.

You are correct. I believe it is always murder, regardless of how the baby is conceived

It depends at what stage the abortion is taking place, but in general no.

In some cases it should be considered murder.

You're just saying yes, but your inaction to prevent "murder" clearly contradicts your words. If anti-abortionists really considered abortion the murder of a human being they'd do more than post on TD.....if you knew 5 yr old children were being systematically murdered in a building in your town what would you do? Post on TD or take up arms to stop it? It's clear and understandable that people have a personal moral issue with abortion, but its also clear they do not consider it murder.

Can I please get some reasoning? i.e. The baby is not viable until such-and-such. Or it has to take a breath before it's alive. Or it needs a heartbeat, etc.

Wow, that's kinda harsh. I hope you or I never have to "justify" murder. Personally, I feel that when it is still a mass of undifferentiated cells, it is not murder.

A lot of pro-choice people make the mistake of trying to argue that abortion does not kill human life. Abortion does kill human life. But I value the reduction of human suffering more than the absolute preservation of human life, so if there is no suffering involved with an abortion I don't have a problem with it. As long as you pay for it yourself and it's early in the pregnancy, I'm fine with it.
