There is no way you could come to that conclusion based on the limited screen time and even more limited back story she's had on the show. Based just on what we've seen on the screen, she can handle a sword and sneak around. And that's it.

i'm being very general. people like daryl because he kicks arse and is an all around badass. every zombie kill she's had on the show has been pretty cool. her "practice session" after she let the biters out of the cage was pretty cool. from time to time daryl shows a soft side (like with carol). michonne has cared for andrea when she's sick even though she probably slows her down. right now the only difference is from time to time daryl injects humor into things. michonne shows nothing but gruffness. i'm not giving anything away. edit: i just realize on my quoted sentence you may have thought i was attributing "who everyone loves" to her, i wasn't. i was talking about everyone loves daryl. sorry bad subj verb agreement

I really hope the phone ringing was legit and not Rick going crazy. I don't think Rick going crazy and shite going on in his head is a direction I'd enjoy this show taking.

Agreed. I already don't like how completely out of character Rick is acting...it doesn't make much sense, even for the circumstances he's going through.

also for those of you who don't like michonne i don't get it. granted i'm a comic reader, but going solely on the tv show if you had to draft people in the ZA i don't understand how she's not a 1st rd pick.
My criticism of her isn't based on her effectiveness in the ZA, but that they have introduced her in a really lazy and sloppy way. The writers just said, "Hey there's this awesome badass named Michonne coming next season," and expect everyone to accept it and love the character. What has she done besides swinging a sword around to make me like her? I find her attitude just annoying. Maybe there's a background to her that makes her likeable, but they have barely managed to tell us her name so far. Basically, I'm not going to like her just because I've been told to by the showrunners. I'm tired of them not bothering to accomplish things on screen.

that's fair. i think this season has moved pretty quickly pacing-wise and btwn the prison and woodbury, michonne character dev is on the back burner.

yeah i know. i understand the many challenges logistically of having to care for an infant in the ZA, but they can't just throw it away. but there's a lot of "i'd do this" in this thread that would probably be different if the person was actually going through these situations. but hey, it's a tv show.

I feel the same way. She's a zombie terminator but with less personality

Shane would have used it to save himself if he was being chased by zombies.

Rotary dial phones still work as long as you have landline service from a legacy telecom and don't have DSL since they can't work through a DSL filter. Personally I think he's hallucinating anyway.

imagine how awesome this show would be if it had Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk, etc. quality writers? The writers are pretty awful when you look past the zombies and guns.

lots of hate in this thread when just last week everyone was praising this show. yeah, this past episode was relatively weak compared to the rest of the season, but I look at it as a set up episode. And I think the reason for Michonne not being introduced/talked about more is because they are saving that for later. I'm sure we will learn about her past as the episodes go on because she is a badass zombie killing machine. The zombie gladiator scene was oddly portrayed and seemed out of place. That scene shows that the writers about being too subtle in revealing that the Governor is a psycho, which I think they just need to be brutal and upfront about it to really set his character up.

so you think after the scene with the zombie with the distended belly who was full from eating a person 15 ft from where lori was, that they were not implying that the zombie ate lori's body? they spend exactly 1 second on every other zombie kill rick has but this one gets significant time and overkill for no reason at all?
and i actually think hes going fishing for the wedding ring like when they were looking for sophia remains in season 2.

i don't think Carol is dead. I know that was her grave, it had a C made of rocks on it, and it appeared to be filled, but when has TWD ever had a main character die and them not even shot it? she's alive hiding somewhere.....and NO it's not saving Lori, lol.
carol wasmt included on the in memorium on talking dead on the last two weeks, so i believe she is still alive.
