Not gonna lie. I still play the shite out of some Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2. The story mode on there is just exceptional.

You have to remember, I played this in early 1999 so before the Frieza saga was even over in the US, and there I am fighting Buu. My little child mind=blown.

Does anyone else remember a DBZ mod for Quake 3 way back in the day called Bid for Power? Never got released because of licensing issues.

You had to like... Put a spring under the lid and put a disc in the game console, then turn it off and on or something and then the game would play?

Are there any DBZ games that aren't just fighting games? Something that has more of a story mode with some fights mixed in.
I have always hoped for a game that has more of a free range mode where I could explore.
A quick google search shows some older RPGs, but probably not what I am looking for.

Dragon Ball Heroes on 3DS. But nothing on consoles.
It's too bad, a badass DBZ game with great graphics and the voice actors would be awesome. Could follow all the DBZ sagas or make a new one with a mix of fighting and RPG. It would probably sell like crazy if it's any good.
I have Raging Blast 2 for the 360, the graphics and characters are awesome but the fighting gets repetitive fast.

Oh well.
I like to play fighting games from time to time, but it isn't my favorite genre.
They could have some great cut scenes in a DBZ adventure game. A mass effect style would be pretty sweet too if you played as Vegeta. You choose to be a true warrior or be compassionate.
