I like CNN honestly. that being said, they are not Unbiased, just the closest to unbiased imo. I don't know of a completely unbiased network in today's day and age.

Everything and everyone is biased. I's impossible to purge yourself of bias. Though I do agree that Reuters and the BBC do the best job of news reporting.

Most of the stuff I read out of Europe has a greater ring of truth to it than any domestic sources by miles. That is why I find Drudge as an easy portal to use for news, the list of sites is quite good to browse. There is a site that I finally started getting posts from two years after applying for information from it. I now get a gazillion notices from "Janes", who are the experts on military news to be accessed.

Reason.com, domestic. Economist, Intl. I read the NYT fully aware of it's positives and negatives....WSJ occasionally...read the Atlantic for long form articles....Vanity Fair occasionally. I don't watch any TV/Cable news. Bottom line: You should be able to watch any news source and suss out the fact from the opinion.

Brian Lamb has a policy that if any guest cracks a joke the interviewer is not to laugh because laughing at the left and not the right or vice versa = perception of bias. Cspan has some interesting interviews on booknotes.

Drudge has a lot of good links, but the titles of the links are pretty biased. He'll reference one little blurb and make the title of the link seem like the article is about something completely different. FoxNews is Trash MSNBC is Trash CNN leans left, but not as much as MSNBC does and not nearly as far as FoxNews leans right. I just try to read several different articles on each subject and try to filter out the rhetoric the best I can.

The links on breaking news lean right. The links on individual columnists has TONS of leftists. Also, links of newspapers, mags, etc leans left heavily.

Mostly everything is junk. One 'news' station I haven't seen mentioned is CNBC. Their news isn't necessarily political, but it's usually accurate.

I spend 60% of the time watching Fox, and 20% on Fox Business - I like Charlie Gasparino. CNN is the only unbiased.

I'm partial to the PBS broadcasts Also, the "left, right, center" discussions on NPR are usually pretty good. The economist is probably my favorite news magazine - most periodicals have devolved into trash which is more like People magazine than an attempt to convey information in an unbiased fashion
