I live in a technology black hole here. People are still memorized by fro yo. I have never seen these contraptions.

Every time I use one of those machines I freeze up and get Orange Sprite. Too many damned choices.

Only worth having it at Firehouse with the cherry lime aid. Just run it a couple seconds to clear out the line then put your cup under and fill her up.

I think they're cool and all, but there is always someone behind me waiting to get a drink, so I just get Diet Coke, b/c there is usually always someone in front of me who takes 10 minutes to decide on their drink once they figure out how to work it. I don't want to be that person. Again, it's cool, but I agree with OP, it's not super awesome when you have to wait in line for 10 minutes to get your drink.

I hate these things. I don't eat at BK, but they have one at Moe's here. I don't even drink soft drinks, but I can't even get more ice for my tea bc there is a line of kids that take 5 mins each trying to make a strawberry/orange/grape Sunkist/Sprite suicide.

i'm old, and i hate them. they're a pain because you have to go through 4 or so steps instead of 2, and they end up causing a line because they are slow to operate. You can buy many more varieties of drink, but the decision process is time consuming, especially if you are old and feeble minded like me. we used to just push the lever for the drink we wanted, and we liked it!!! Looking even farther back, we used to just say "coke", then tell them what flavor (orange, rootbeer, etc) and someone handed us the drink of our choice.

I saw they had one of these at the Piccadilly on Essen. The old person to not old person ratio in that place is like 45-1. There was an angry, confused old person line of about 15 people trying to figure out the contraption.

They have them at Firehouse Subs. I think they work well for low volume stores, McDonald's, not so much. BK should be fine, no volume in those stores...

Old people find smartphones hard to use Who cares? You can't stop progress because a few old people find something difficult to use

Don't be silly. 10 extra seconds of work to be able to avoid complaining about something? This is the OT, bro.

They also have them at the movie theater by my house. The best part is they give you these plastic cups and you go to the machine to fill it yourself, so my fiance and I always reuse the cups after washing them and sneaking them in so we don't have to pay $10 for drinks every time we go. And I've never notices the taste being weird....Probably b/c I just get different flavor coke zeros every time.

I wish someone would teach them how to use debit cards. I loathe going to Walgreens and seeing 5 people in line knowing they are all going to write a check.

I cant remember the last time I saw a nice BK. I made the mistake of eating in one months ago. Just terrible. McDonald's seem to be doing a lot of upgrading although I don't like their food too much. They opened one by my house and the inside was really, really nice. They also upgraded the old one by my office. Although neither had those Coke machines. I've seen them at Firehouse like others have mentioned and Pei Wei.

They had one at my favorite pizza buffet but the line for drinks was longer than for food and it was always breaking. Back to the old boring way now.
