MLBTR's Tim Dierked ranked Upton as the fifth best free agent this offseason in his Top 50 Free Agents List, predicting he would sign with the Phillies.

hard to steal first.. he hasn't posted an above average OBP since 2008. Not the lead off hitter people think he is, plus the last three years he has only been average defensively in center
