Now only a handful of survivors are left and they are much more hardened, ragged bunch.
Living off the land is more of a needed skill then zeroing a sniper rifle. You much more likely to die to a machete attack over a can of beans, then an AS50 from 700m away.
Gone are the military grade weapons, the helicopters, and scarce is the food and medical supplies. Things are going to be hard in this port. It won't be for everyone.
I wanted to do this after seeing what I did not like so much in Celle. With Celle in hindight I think I put to much in. For DayZ 2017 I want to go back to basics and really focus on what made rockets Mod really tick with players, and that was scarcity and threat.
I have some modeling to do (females), but there are five survivor models who all look like characters from 'The Road' or the 'Book of Eli'. Quite a few other plans, but I will see if I can get basics working first before saying anymore.

I would have dusted off the ol Gateway PC to play the last one but it seemed less a zombie game than a roaming pack of douchebaggery and getting sniped by PvP.

I started to play the beta, but my parents house intrawebs sucked so I always got booted for too high of ping. Now that I have awesome intrawebs at my apartment no one plays
