I really enjoyed the fight between Spidey and the lizard at the school. I thought it was epic.
Solid movie. Not spectacular but holds its own.

Peter Parker was better in the Amazing Spiderman, but the the original was a better overall movie.

Spiderman 2 was easily the best of that series. One was good too.
I thought the new one was good, but not as good as most of you guys. The 1st half felt like the same exact movie as the 1st one with McGuire. Also, I know those kids are supposed to be smart, but come on. The way he discovers the spider mask was pretty convenient too.

I am 33:52 into the movie, and it is so far, fricking terrible.
shitty way of getting bit, how the hell is hot blonde high school gorl giving tours, over the top public display of powers without shock on the part of parker.
The metamorphosis into spider-man has been laughably shitty...now I got to go back and watch the rest, but I can't see how the same people who wrote in an entire body above the rim glass shattering slam dunk in front of an entire gymnasium...can write in anonymity into Spidey's crusade as the masked hero.
I hate people for continuing to like SHIT!

2 out of 10, it was that horrible...the Incredible hulk was twice as good at 4 out of 10(I hated the Hulk less than this pile of fricking garbage)
The reason I am so mad is that I avoided this crap, it was over, I had won......and then a couple of you dumb fricks actually recommended this trash and suckered me in. frick you and I wish there was a fricking ignore that I could put on anyone who said that this shite was even remotely watchable. rant/

just watched it lastnight.....meh at best. It seemed like they didn't want to tell the origin stuff, but had to to establish their own universe. I didn't give a shite when Uncle Ben died, why would I? He was barely around.
-He and Emma Stone fell in love after like 2 scenes
-Maybe its because I hate andrew garfield, but I didn't really care for parker.
-The villain wasn't established well and was pretty lame
-So peter does an NBA Jam dunk from the 3 point line and chucks a ball from the stands into a goalpost so hard that it bends it.....and no one questions how this emo kid could suddenly accomplish these feats?

I finally watched this a few weeks ago, and it was extraordinarily meh. Just nothing special about it at all. PP came off as simply a whiny smartass for the most part IMO.
I agree with most of BilJ's points. I had nothing invested in Uncle Ben at all, and the Gwen Stacey thing was kinda weird and did seem to happen really fast.
Also didn't like how they basically didn't get into him creating the web machine things...just kinda montaged that without really showing how it worked. Although it's always bugged me how he swings straight when his webbing is attached to buildings on the sides...I know he sways back and forth a little bit, but for the most part it's in a straight line. Always bothered me that he didn't just smack his arse into the walls.
