Call of duty is not that great, you most likely didnt like halo because you weren't very good... But even more likely you haven't even played it bc it is great.

After playing bf3 for almost a year I am liking the quick arcade style of mw3. I am going to get blops2 in a week or so, but I'm liking mw3

Unlike 90% of the people that hated MW3 I didn't mind it that much. The game would play a lot better if it weren't for some of the people that play it.
The people that play Halo are either really good at it because they played the others, or are mediocre and easy to kill. My roommates and I in college played Halo 2 non stop freshman year and skills you learned playing it still roll over to 4. In COD that's rarely the case because the games play so differently. IMO

I find my experience with COD to be quite the opposite. I bought all of them up to MW2. They pump out call of duty every year it might as well be called Madden Ops 2

 GTFO...Halo went to shite after Halo 3. Don't give me that garbage. Similarities between Halo and CoD are ridiculous now. Kill cams, load outs, zombies (flood), extra abilites/perks...etc. The only major difference now are the shields, gravity, and plasma weapons. Halo will never be Halo again, unless they go back to what the game originally was. I've been playing Halo for 8+ years...I know anything and everything about the multiplayer in each game.

I think Treyarch games play similar, but the Infinity Ward/Sledgehammer games have played differently.

Kill Cam and load outs are not features unique to only COD, so that is an incorrect assessment. There is not a nazi zombie mode on halo but good try tho. The zombie mode on halo is all online with players and is not similar to COD zombies. Also the flood was a part of the original trilogies.

Guns, grenades, and melee along with carefully designed maps with weapons dispersed fairly around the map and great game modes to play were all part of the original formula and still is now.
I think what your butt hurt about is it actually feels like halo but different at the same time. Your hopes were it would be the exact same game as before so you could come and say see I told you it's the same thing as always, now go buy BLOPS.
