Live Oaks Head Coach arrested and taken off the field before the game started. The PA announcer asked that both teams leave the field by 6:20 to get the pre-game activities done. They asked several times and their head coach refused. At about 6:35 the Bossier Sheriff's Deputies arrested him and took him off the field in front of the team and fans. Such bad sportsmanship and a bad example especially for a team who hasn't made the playoffs for many years!

Parkway's principal said that it was her school and Live Oak's band could not play on the field before or during the game. Rules state if the two schools do not agree to leave the field then they don't have to. The fact that The LO coach was arrested was a violation of rules. I'm glad a coach is willing to stand up for the school like that. Good for LO and their coach.

Since live oaks hadn't made the playoffs in so many years, he probably wanted to get the full playoff feel by standing on the field.

I guess he wasn't done with his teams warm up. He was asked by the PA announcer, the refs, the Principal, and then arrested and carted off by the cops. Crazy way to start a game. Parkway 14 Live Oak 0 with 41 sec left in 1st.

They released him and he is coaching the game. If it had been against the rules, he would have been ejected.
