I hope this is true.
Advancing man's exploration of space is the reason that a lot of the little gadgets you play with today exist.
It was a crying shame when the shuttered the shuttle program without anything to replace it. And I was pretty pissed when they killed off our return to the moon. The United States should be leading the world into the exploration of other worlds. It his hardly a waste of money...but again...narrow minded people like you will certainly not be able to understand the advantages of a robust space program.

The better question is why wouldnt they.
Instead of wasting all those billions "nation" building in the shite holes of Iraq and the afghan desert...just think how much more Nasa could have done with that money to advance mankind's understanding of the universe around us.

I seem to recall many folks on here raising cane about NASA losing funding and ending the shuttle program. Now, NASA has a large new program, with fundiong to follow, and we are upset about that.
Im confused
