are you talking about Hootie Jones? There is nothing credible saying he's about to commit anywhere. Pay sites had quotes from him being at the game Saturday saying positive things about LSU. Supposedly he grew up loving Ohio State. From my expirience, some one on these boards will show up with some "inside" scoop about how jsut every big La recruit is going some where else. Hootie will be a major national recruit, he will get offers from all kinds of major programs, so who know's where he will sign its 15 month's until he can sign anywhere.

Birkenstock sent me a screen print of everything Shea and Sonny said on the subject. I seen it with my on eyes. They said the offer is not pulled, but LSU is backing off.

If I'm not mistaken, Williams is teammates with Miles and Moffitt's sons. He's on campus, and has been there for a while.
The staff is fully aware of what is going on with him. Two different sites have reported very similar info on his recruitment today. They didn't just grab this out of thin air, and the timing of it (with Gilmore announcing tomorrow) seems a bit suspicious to me.
Reading a bit between the lines, or maybe a lot, is it possible this is a shot across the bow to check his pulse? Or is there some interest from another recruit?
I don't think it's a stretch to say LSU is at the very least saying he needs to shite or get off the pot. And it's even possible they have flat out moved on and no longer showing any interest at all, given that this info has remained up on both boards.

#s are tight, we always get a surprise or 3 at the end, maybe he's slipped on the board for any number of reasons. Maybe we are forcing his hand, who knows but we should at least have a modicum of trust in the staff.
