I'll never understand why some of these recruits can be so enamored with a school they've never even visited.
It's one thing if you grow up in an area with no major colleges, but Monroe is just only just over 3 hours away.

they are kids, wanting to go somewhere new is appealing, plsu they are not necessarily LSU fans. LSU is starting to have the same appeal to OOS recruits. Look how many we've got in this class
Hell, I knew a guy at LSU, just a student that went to LSU because he loved the atmosphere just from watching games on TV, said he had to check it out and wound up going to school here. And that was in the late 80's

I was thinking he wasnt coming. Last year we had a class of 21 because we got burnt by 2 guys, had 3 not qualify. Fill the class up, worry ab the crazy ones later.

I get that, but being a fan or being interested in a school is vastly different than potentially being on the verge of committing to a school you've never visited.
