This game plays better solo than the first one did, but it's always better with more people.

I just hit 50 with my commando doing Torgue quests. He's tied with Tiny Tina for my favorite npc.

anybody got any suggestions on which character i should go with on this? about to start playing.
played with the sniper/pistol class on the first one, enjoyed the frick out of that, but wanna try something new with this one. leaning towards the commando on this, digging the gun turret..

Turret is pretty boss. I've really only played Maya and enjoyed the crap out of her phaselock. Especially after unlocking Ruin. They all are pretty fun. I'm neck deep into the DLC so I'm not down with starting a new character at the moment, or I'd run with you. If you play with a few people, having Maya is a good idea. I always set her up for healing which comes in handy.

yea maya intrigued me. really thought about using her. seems a lot of times it's the character everybody seems to overlook that in reality is pretty badass, can see maya being like that. but decided to go with the commando for the first play through, see how it goes
eta: on a side note i got the collectors edition pack for the additional skins and heads but have yet to see them, maybe they'll show up to be used once i get in the game...
