I do not track GB scores to see where they skew historically. admittedly. They aren't hacks though.
I like gleaming pro's and potential con's from their reviews.
It was nice to know that there are a lot of covenent to fight and that it feels a lot like previous halo games.
I think he scored it a little low, but I think he had different expectations for the game. (And he was fair because he told you that, so you could see his POV) Anyone who reads that reviews can filter those things.
What is nice is that he still made it clear that if what you are looking for is "X" its still going to be a great game.

As an adeddum to my previous post..If you spend some time reading, listeing to their podcasts, you will know that they(GB) fricking hate reviewing games.
What they do instead is their "quick looks" which is like 45min of game play of many different games. Not just the AAA hyped out the arse stuff.
But just watching the gameplay and unfiltering bullshitee, you can form your on opinion of whethere a game looks good to you..
be careful though..thinking for yourself and forming you own opinion can be considered dangerous.

The only thing I absolutely hate that I've seen is that you cannot pick up grenades off of a dead body without a perk. Bull shite.

I honestly can't really speak for all shooters, but how many of them let you pick up nades from dead bodies? COD with scavenger, but Halo is the only one I could ever recall without a perk.

True, but I wouldn't really consider it spamming. Maybe its just me, but besides the start of a game maybe, I have never been overwhelmed by the amount of nades being thrown.

Most people I would run across would automatically toss a nade and then start firing. Which I know is a common tactic, but only once or twice a life, depending on perks. It's annoying to know that I'll get naded in every firefight.
I'm being old and crotchety. I'll fall asleep in a few.

Throw nade and fire is just part of halo. You have the shield unlike in COD. Nades I think are more accepting in halo.

You no longer can pick up nades from dead bodies. Only from nade spawns or if you have a perk, probably similar to scavenger.

I do not like this. Nades give you that ability to hit streakes. No chance 1v2 without a nade.
