I have no issues with reporters joking around, but it's no coincidence that you never ever hear this kind of thing coming from the "objective" media about President Obama.
But it wouldn't be fair to single Coppins out. Accidentally, he just proved once again who 99% of these people are, and why they must be defeated. Coppins isn't the problem. If he was, he wouldn't have felt that his childish wishful thinking would be amusing to his peers.
This is reminiscent of what we heard from David Chalian, the former Yahoo News political director fired for saying Mitt and Ann Romney are "happy to have a party when black people are drowning."
