i like this album, idk about it being a instant classic and all, will have to see. he is at least a real rapper and not just rapping about some bs every single song, a la rick ross.

That he is. The thing about GKBC is that you have to see the album as a whole and not judge each song on its on. Its a concept album. For someone so young to try something so ambitious is amazing in itself. The album plays out like a movie each song building off the last. And trill we may not always agree but no one can question your passion for the music and I for one really respect that.

That is my recipe for a first listen always.
I can't wait to do this when the new Curren$y mixtape drops on the 31st.

Your obsession with trolling is disturbing. Who are you that douche friedofOduDan? Gonna follow me into the music board to troll? Kendrick put out an amazing album so I and others commented on it. That's what the thread's about dick. Stay over there with your best bud RandSavage. At least you can troll someone on the same level as you.

good read, insofar as in echoes my own opinion on the album

In light of Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city, this month's column takes on the idea of "classic" albums and why they can promote a limiting view of hip-hop: LINK /
