IMHO, it's up to the families of the dead to drag this awful shite into the light. They can bring the adequate pressure needed to stop the coordinated effort to keep this pot from boiling over before the election.
They must be receiving back channeled info on what really happened and they are in a position to help the truth come out.

I've spent some scarce time with both GEN Ham and VADM Leidig. That seems highly improbable. I guess anything can happen, but come on.
And Ham was likely scheduled to depart in March of '13 anyway. This nomination doesn't seem too strange.
I'll contact some old buddies back at AFRICOM and be sure not to post whatever I find out.
