If she’d really cared about this–and it sounds like she knew about this as she was saying it during the debate–she would have corrected herself during the debate, when the people were still watching.
EDIT: (via @seanmdav) Back on September 28th, Crowley was saying that the Obama administration needed to explain why they didn’t call what happened in Libya a terrorist attack. The CNN transcript tells all:
"The question I think too is what you asked and Peter King wouldn’t play, but the idea is why would you be so adamant? When most people look and said, well of course it’s a terrorist attack. I mean, they had you know large weaponry. It’s not something you bring to a protest. And now we’re finding out there might not even have been a protest at the time this attack took place. So I think there are lots of questions to be answered here that the administration is going to have to talk about."
I’m betting the media’s not going to call her on this, and they’ll let her admission that Romney was essentially right about Libya slide as well. We have to make sure this kind of information gets out there.

Not even close. At worse a 'push' like we all knew it would be before hand because Romney couldn't top the last one, and the questions would be loaded

Do you not understand the term "acts of terror"?
Let me guess.... The transcript is altered. The President knew this might come up weeks later so he went back and altered thousands of transcripts across the Internet.
Good (whatever fake higher being you believe in). It's right there in black and white.

He generalized it. He never called the attack in Libya an act of terror. It them two weeks to "officially" declare it an act of terror.

Anyone trying to backtrack using a generalized reference to acts of terror should be ashamed. Everyone criticized Romney's quick reaction, which turned out to be correct. Rice and the administration need to be taken to task for repeatedly suggesting Libya was a response to the video.

What is insanely stupid about this is no matter how you take it, it should be bad for Obama.
Either Romney is right, and Obama lied about it for two weeks despite the intelligence he had, or IMO worse that Romney is wrong, then Obama admitted it was a terrorist attack then completely changed his mind and lied about it for two weeks before changing his mind again.
Our media has stopped being media and turned into propaganda.

Totally true. And totally a propaganda technique. BHO and his Chicago Machine are aces, and with their MSM enablers, they get away with it. Richard Nixon was an amateur compared to these guys.
But back on-topic, the two telling things that need to be drilled into the minds of voters from now until election day are these:
1. Susan Rice, the U.N. Ambassador, went onto no fewer than five Sunday interview shows immediately following the Libya debacle to insist this was nothing more than an outgrowth of a reaction to that stupid film, that it was spontaneous, and not an act of organized terror.
2. A week or more later, when Pres. Obama was speaking before the U.N. but did not name terrorism as the culprit, and no fewer than six times in that speech he implied this whole thing is an out growth of reaction to the Mohammed video.

Couple of points on this:
1. Give BHO credit and his "acts of terror" was directed at Libya. Then WHY did he have the US Ambassador go on multiple talking head shows 5 days after the attack to say that it wasn't a terrorist attack but an uprising? WHY did Sec Clinton apologize and say it was related to a video and not a terrorist attack days after the incident? WHY did BHO go to the UN and generalize that the violence was related to the video and that we support "free speech"?
2. IF BHO believed this WAS a terror attack, WHY did he fly to Vegas for a fundraiser and campaign event when acts of terror were underway against US property and citizens?
Very poor judgement IMO.
