Jimmy Smith is on WIST right now.
-He said that Monty is saying he doesn't expect EG10 to start doing anything besides walkthroughs until the week after next.
-Jimmy also mentioned how we have 3 games (Mon/Wed/Fri, with the M/F games being on the road) that week and he doesn't see how Gordon will have any real practice time before the 10/31 opener.

Either they're being extremely precautionary or it's more than just "soreness." Really hope that it's the former.

I find it hard to believe that it could be something more serious but they can say "week after next."

I don't see how anyone can expect this guy to shine without camp. He will be more prone to injury without having had a preseason. This I think will end badly...

Meh. "Feels funny" could mean any number of things. It could be instability of the knee. It could be numbness. He may have a loss of degree of motion.
He's rehabbing from knee surgery. It could be another buildup of scar tissue. It happens. Nobody here is an orthopedic surgeon, much less Gordon's surgeon, so it's pointless to get all worked up about it. We'll see what happens this season. Until then, why act like the sky is falling? The sun will rise tomorrow.
