I don't get all this "faux" outrage against ND in BCS games EVERY.frickING.YEAR.
Name 1 time ND screwed another team out of a BCS bid. EVery time ND made it, they earned it.

I remember they went to the Fiesta Bowl against Colorado once...maybe '95...and got waxed. I think they were like 7-4 going into the game?
I know, I know, long time ago...irrelevant, etc. BUT...it was still when they had the clause about winning a certain number of games and it was during Bowl Alliance.

I agree with you for the most part but in 05 a 1 loss oregon team was passed over by a 2 loss ND team.

Sorry. It's bull shite that ND gets 2 mulligans a year but its been proven that K State has to be perfect or outright conference champions to get in.
Just because some jackass from Burlington or Tacoma would rather watch Notre Dame.

fwiw, a 10-2 ND with their schedule this year has about an equal case as an 11-1 kansas state

I don't have a problem with ND at all. Their schedule is about as legit as it gets, so even with 2 losses they would be worthy.

The year they lost to Oregon state they had a 9 or 10 game winning streak. But guess that doesn't count, since they stole a bid. The BCS is only to pair 1 vs 2. The bowl picks them not the BCS. Plus they were eligible by the rules.
