at some point, it comes downs to possessions left..
I would think that if the WVU steps up, they have 7 offensive possessions left maybe.. they'll need to score on 5 of them.. and hope their D doesnt give up any more points

In order for WVU to come back, they will have to learn to play some defense during halftime. I don't see that happening.
I don't doubt WVU's ability to put up points.

Maybe if your offensive gameplan wasn't to throw it deep 30 times a game the wind wouldn't be as much of a factor.
