I gotta say that after watching the video I have no problem with what he did. The passenger was verbally abusive and the bus driver showed patience and restraint. Then she touches him. I can't tell if she hit him or did something else, but she made contact with him and he defended himself. I say good for him.

As satisfying as it was, he could've left the threat at any time. I'm surprised in the society in which we live today that he wasn't arrested and charged with a crime when people are arrested just for throwing food and water at others.

You seem to be more than a bit culturally insensitive. Different cultures handle their problems different ways. Who are you to judge their behavior?

No. That should never happen.
There's no reason a man should have to uppercut a woman. Period. I'm not saying he couldn't manhandle her, but he could have thrown her off the bus without a punch.

Yes. When he stopped the bus, unbelted himself, and stood up, there was a door between him and her. He could have simply walked out the door and phoned police instead of walking over, squaring up, and uppercutting her.
Again, I don't have a problem with it. But we all know how screwed up law enforcement and interpretation have become these days.

You see that kind of behavior for years, I imagine it takes it's toll on you. He lost it when she made contact with him, can't say I am gonna judge hi for it.
I have to say when I have been confronted with "that attitude" in years past I was tempted to do what he did.

He was driving the bus, she put him and all of the passengers in jeopardy. I hope he doesn't get canned

Nice uppercut! You can tell that he us played that old street fighter video game. He brought that one up from the damn floor!
I'm surprised that she didn't see it coming. Too busy running that loud cocky mouth I guess.
Overall, I give it a 6 if that's what you are asking. But only because of the bitch proved to have an iron jaw and popped right back up.
Maybe a 7 just for pure hilarity when the driver said 'you going to jail now!' She didn't know that he was talking to himself!

What I saw was intracultural conflict, not the the intrusion of dysfunctionals into the general society. You obviously can't make the distinction, as I've never suggested we could uplift the dysfunctional masses and make them civil or economically productive.

Bus driver could have handled it better. He did have a role in escalating it.
But it is nice to see justice prevail over chivalry sometimes.
