This game will be close for a quarter and a half max. Sumlin has played la tech before, he knows their gameplans well. Latechs defense is one of the worst in the FBS vs ours who is one of the top 10 scoring defenses in the nation. We do have one of our top LBs out so that may factor in. Our talent level is also considerably higher. If latech follows ole miss and puts a spy on Manziel (which they should) it may press us a little more and this provide a bit of a cushion in the match up.
I always root for a good game though.

We lost to Florida 20-17 because of one of the stupidest plays in college football, icing the kicker. I'm not saying we would have definitely put points on the board after but we would have had a chance. Bare in mind we were playing a team with an NFL defense while having a new coach, new offense and new defense.
Our worst quarter without a doubt has been our worst while the 1st for la tech has been the best. However, A&M outscores their opponents 99-10 in the 2nd quarter, 45-9 in the 3rd quarter, and 48-21 in the 4th quarter.
Thus my 1st and a half prediction.

Both of these teams are pretty equal. They both have about the same level of talent. This game will be very close.
Texas A&M= 38
La Tech= 34
Should be a good one.

The Fairgrounds are in a less than desirable area but so what....There's a hell of a lot going on this weekend here, so no freaking excuses for not coming: Brad Paisley concert last night, Red River Revel Festival, casinos, & then game. I love these TAMU douches that complain about coming to S'port. Ever been to college Station?!? That's truly depressing.

Your ability to score against shitty teams in the 2nd through 4th quarters isn't relevant to the fact that you think in only your second game against a good team (you lost the first one at home), you think you'll have the game well in hand by not long after the end of the first quarter "at the latest", despite the fact that you haven't had a commanding lead against any opponents this year by that point.
