The Clinton political machine is smart, quick, and ruthless.
Barry has now made enemies of the clintons AND the spooks.

Yep, the Clintons never liked Obama. Bubba did what he had to do at the Dem convention after calculating it would be easier for Hillary to win an election after Obama's second term than to beat an incumbent Romney. The guy will do almost anything to get back in the White House and the girls. Throwing Hillary under the bus will not work out well for Barry.

Yep. Regardless of who denied requests for additional security (State Department or WH), no one can deny that Obama and all his minions for two weeks were telling the American people a story that was not remotely true. And, at this point, it seems that they made these false statements intentionally.

Of course they did. It was Obama's policy of 'no bullets in the magazine' over there, which is what guided Hillary/State in ignoring the requests for more security. Did he tell her outright..."no bullets, no added security"...hell no; he didn't have to, it was an agreed upon basic policy.
Bill and Hillary are in a pickle re how to or whether throwing Obama under the bus will pay off. Even though they KNOW Obama will throw them under without a thought. But the Left will hate her if she deserts Obama, and that will forever ruin her political aspirations.
Bottom line...if you lay down with dogs...ya wake up with fleas. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving political animal low-lifes. There IS a God! 
Let's just hope this results in getting this bunch out, before they let the 'shields' down on our homeland, and we end up with another far worse 9/11.

Yep this is the thing. The security mistake is just that, a mistake. Someone can come out and take responsibility below Clinton and live in the good graces of the clinton machine forever.
The coverup is the question. Why did the white house lie? If a state dept official is responsible, they should drop the hammer, and move on with accurate info. Are they covering for Hillary? Or if the request was denied in advance like suggested at the hearing. Wouldn't that directive be part of the administration's overall foreign policy? One of the State dept's security personnel said at the congressional hearing that additional security would be denied before the embassy requested it for any reason. This is not the distraction from the economy that Obama wanted.

Yeah, thats crazy. Theyhad reports and even a letter from Stephens saying it was getting bad, and even a denial of their request for increase security. Also, Lybia was saying the same thing from their intelligence...this is snow-balling.

My recollection is that was the claim about the Marine Security detail for embassies, you don't think the security in Bengazi was being provided by Marine embassy guards or more marines were requested? Do you?

The Clintons won't betray Obama like that. It's more important to all of them for a Democrat to be in the White House.
Bill will be campaigning for Obama in Ohio this week. Don't get your hopes up.

Honestly what else did Bill and Hillary expect from obama? He has an history of tossing anyone and everyone under the bus when his arse is on the line.

The buck never stops in the white house for this administration.
I expect Bill will still halfassly campaign for Barry, but I also expect for him to have his "gaffes" like he did before the dem convention. The honeymoon is over. You know a comment like you should never raise taxes on this economy.
Hillary will not go down without taking him down with her.
