Neither Lee or Mettenberger can be considered anything close to dual-threat. Hell, Mett can't even roll out.

But at least Lee could run forward. On a few occasions he got us a first with running forward. No knock on METT but I do not foresee him ever being that kind of player. Pocket passer.

That statement is certainly in question. From watching him throughout the years, I notice he has the tendency to camp out in the pocket and likes to make ill-advised throws when the pocket collapses instead of a tuck and run. He has a great arm but certainly cannot be categorized as a running threat of any sort.
