El Salvador plays Costa Rica at home tonight. If they can get three points, it will eliminate longtime USMNT nemesis Costa Rica from the Hex. It it's a draw, El Salvador will pretty much have to beat Mexico at the Azteca, given that Guyana will assuredly lose to Costa Rica.

Honduras 4 2 1 1 4 2 +2 7
Canada 4 2 1 1 2 2 0 7
Cuba 4 0 0 4 0 6 -6 0
Canada will play Cuba at home, and hope to increase their goal differential by a wide margin. Honduras must get a result against Panama to force effectively an elimination game against Canada on Tuesday. Panama can clinch qualification with a win.
This upcoming Hex could turn out to be one of the easiest in awhile, if somehow Honduras and Costa Rica fail to qualify.
That being said, I think Costa Rica will get at least a draw in El Salvador despite their recent poor run of form. Honduras is in worse shape. If Canada win big tonight, they may bunker in San Pedro Sula and play for a draw.

USMNT nemesis or not, after experiencing the El Salvador/AS Roma friendly, I wanna to see El Salvador flame out.
Also for personal reasons, I hope Canada can get through. My GF really, really hates them since her band was denied entry to Canada a few years ago which makes the possible US/Canada matches a lot more fun.

They're notoriously strict about work visa paperwork for minor things that even the US/European countries/Japan could care less about.
Her band had a tour lined up and had all the paperwork but it didn't include one afterthought show for fun (the type that's at a bar where the band probably gets a couple of hundred bucks if that). The customs agent spent about an hour on internet researching the entire tour and then denied entry when he found a facebook mention of the show on a fan's page!
I've DJed all over Europe and Japan (for not enough money to cover travel costs) and can say that Canada was the only country that ever hassled me to the point that I had to mail records separately.

Another interesting note:
Guyana is hosting Mexico tonight in Houston and BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston. Might as well make some money for your federation, when your country is effectively eliminated.

ETA: Canada goes up 2-0 but Occean was sent off in a scrum to get the ball out of the net. Both Canada and Cuba are down to 10 men.

Costa Rica takes the lead on El Salvador. MS-13 needs to get an equalizer, in order to have any shot at qualification.

MS-13 (Mara Salvatrucha) is a street gang comprised mainly of Salvadorans. They are a major problem in LA, and throughout Latin America.

I literally just walked in and turned on the Jamaica/Guatamala match to see:
a corner where fans threw something at the Jamaican player taking the kick all while the Guatemalan GK rolled on the ground faking being elbowed in the face.

DUIs = Canadian Felony and doesn't allow people to come in. If I'm not mistaking. Might have changed the rule tho.
