How far out do you consider "near LSU" in mileage? There are some two miles from campus that serve righteous burgers, and some close that serve a less than desirable product.

Georges on Perkins(owner is a dick), Brewbachers on Nicholson south of campus. The newbies I don't have a personal experience with so other can answer about Fat Cow and Burger Smith.

Curbside if they're in the area, Raul's when they're not. I'd the go Akasha>5 Guys> Louie's after that

Fat Cow is the best I've had, but admittedly, I haven't had a burger at several of the places listed. The smokestack burger at Fat Cow is very good.

Ive eaten them all. Fat Cow & Burgersmith (Filet Burger). Curbside is at Perkins Palms tonight perkins/essen. This was their pic today:

Pretty sure they consolidated it with the main truck and now sell everything out of one. Curbside would be #1 if they ever came close to LSU on a regular basis.
