Same here....but I just couldn't believe how the article kept referencing the message board...I know they are talking about when there was a big discussion about dropping Stokes for Skinner.

Very seldom do I think the criticism commits and prospects receive is justified, but I think it's worse whenever it's an OOS that you have never seen play before. There's more to the players and their ability than what you find on YouTube.

I just wish LSU recruits wouldn't take to heart what message board posters say about them.
First off, they are the most pathetic part of the fan base, and hold no weight to what the majority of the fan base actually thinks.

He is going to be replaced at the end of the season by someone else ... Its already been said by all the recruiting insiders.
If Skinner were to switch his pledge from Arkansas to LSU it would be all over.

What Stokes should know is none of us are good enough at covering recruiting to get paid for it.
None of us have real inside connections to know what's going on (except for Wildman77).
Some are kids and others are grown men that live in their mom's basements.

Unless Josh McNeil's grades have come back up as a negative(who knows with that kid) I have trouble seeing Bama taking a 3rd TE.
Looking more and more like Stokes will remain in the class according to the insiders. I don't understand it but it is what it is. Don't see what he brings to the table that's different than what we currently have but it can't hurt to have another body at the position. Eventually one of them has to work out, right?
