According to Ginsberg, that "warning" was an NFL security person talking to a member of the Saints staff inquiring about a bounty program, to which he was told there was no bounty program, because PFP =/= PFI. The media leaks have made it sound like some very specific, official, high level communication occurred but according to Ginsberg that couldn't be further from the truth.

Hmm, interesting. That's been my only argument AGAINST the Saints is that "if you were warned and kept doing it, you deserve the punishment". But if that's not how it played out, I'll be a monkeys ass. I've got no argument...

its not a conspiracy its actually smart buisness bc everyone starts talking about it. this marketing tactic is used all the time by companies. Apple's lawsuits are also advertising their brand at the same time bc the media is talking about them. I'm sorry but you're just fricking dumb.

That was the story initially, but you don't hear that anymore, along with bounties on Aaron Rodgers and Cam Newton. What happened to those, huh?
This whole thing is all revolving around the claim made by Cerullo that Vilma put 10k on Favre. Even Williams sworn statement doesn't say that happen, and Vitt and several others testified in court that it never took place. Williams statement describes the program, and he says "Now I can see how that might have been crossing the line and encouraging the team to hurt other players." I'm paraphrasing.
What I think happened is that the NFL inquired to the Saints FO several times about bounties, which they would deny of course because they didn't have it, and that turned into "They were warned repeatedly." It's hard to believe, I know, because they've never misrepresented anything before.

It does, he just said that he didnt handle the money but Cerullo handled it. Cerullo said that vilma gave the money to williams who gave it to Cerullo
