I just dont understand the talking point from the White House that Romney shouldnt say anything about it. Since when is a major coverup not political? Are they saying the coverup wouldnt have happend if Romney hadnt said anything thus admitting to the coverup?
Do they really expect people to believe that they really didnt know there was no protest until 2 weeks later? How did they even come up that a protest even occured if they didnt know?

Then, yes, the coverup shouldn't be political.

It is a foreign policy failure. Even without the coverup, it's fair game.
I know everybody on the left thinks Barry is just so damn special. But even he doesn't get a free pass on this one.

This is totally fair game. They are lying to cover their asses. Teeths Biden told a huge lie last night about the request for security not getting to the Administration.
Question: How do you think this would be handled, both by the Media and the Dims if the roles were reversed, i.e. A Republican incumbent running against a Dim challenger

The new Leftist/MSM talking point is -- WELL, WE HAVE TO COMPLETE THE INVESTIGATION.
Translation: We have to continue the cover-up of the complete and utter ineptitude and incompetence of this administration, at least until after the election. We can't let the American people know what a severe f*ck up is occupying the White House.

You're being unfair!
The WH would simply request they be given enough time to investigate this and get to the bottom of it. I think they feel like they need about 25-26 days to do that. In fact, I think in short order they'll probably promise a full WH Press Briefing on Wed Nov 7th.
These things take time.
Don't be impatient.
