How Can You Really Be An "Undecided" At This Point?

We have known both candidates extensively for years...we have known their messages and their successes and failures.

It boggles my mind that there could be anyone three weeks away from the election that does not know who they are voting for.

To that point, I really don't believe there are any true undecideds left. There may be loose decisions that could be changed if certain circumstances presented themselves between now and election day, but I don't think there are any truly undecideds that will actually show up to vote on election day.

Lets just hold the elections next weekend and let both candidates put their huge coffers down on the debt. Wouldn't make much difference on the debt, but it'll be a step in the right direction.

Truth be told. I actually think 90% of actual voters have made up their minds. I have no facts to back that up other than I don't know a single person in my circle of life that says they do not know who they are voting for.

how do you feel about the 30% of registered voters who will not even bother to vote, when it all comes out in the wash?

THEY are the truly undecided.

Most of the 30% who wont vote, after all is said and done,
dont get counted in these polls as undecided, because they are not claiming to be LV. Just the tip of the undecided iceberg is counted as LV.

My wife is a true undecided, buy that's only because she has paid zero attention to either candidate. I told her just don't vote

If I met a true undecided right now, I would consider that a solid indicator that they are blithering idiots or disinterested to the point of me wishing they just wouldn't vote.

Either way, I'd consider them pretty much worthy of about 1% of my attention.(and that would only be if it was a hot chick)

I still don't know. They are both pretty much the same whether you want to believe it or not.

Has she been living abroad? No offence, but I sincerely feel sorry for you. I can't imagine living with someone who is that clueless.

I think if you are undecided it must mean you can't make up your mind about anything. It must take you an hour to decide what to eat, what to wear, what to do, etc. you also must not pay attention to anything going on in this world.

The day of the election: should I go vot or not? When should I leave? I can't decide.

We all decided for you, STAY HOME!

SNL paints a perfect picture of the undecided voter.

The only undecideds or low information folks....however, you could flip a coin on election day for Mitt or Obama, vote and get the same domestic and foreign results from either.

people who "paid zero attention to either candidate" and one of them is the sitting president (HC bill) and commander in chief (ended war in Iraq and 'caught' Bin Laudin and keeps (illegally?) killing trouble makers in Pakistan with drones)
should recuse themselves from the process.

There is still another debate left.

I don't like either candidate. I know that may be a popular saying, but the only difference I see in their plan is how they will spend the money. Romney wants to put it into the War machine, and Obama wants to put it into social programs.

The biggest reason I am against Romney is foreign policy. The cost [$] of war has been the decline of empires, and Iraq and Afghanistan cut deep. I can't see how anyone would want more conflict. I would like to like Romney for his budget plan, but it is vague and bull shite. The realist in me says that Romney can't or just flat out won't balance the books. I believe Republicans are going to spend just like Dems.

Maybe, I'm just undecided if I will vote, or "waste" my vote on a third party.

I think the people that are undecided are the ones that hold certain social issues to heart but look at their wallet and dont like what they see.

So they need to decide what is more important to them.
