the Moose Lodge, on the Newton/Boone county line right off AR Hwy 7, south of Harrison. It's so backwoods and country I love that place. You have to a member to get in, or know how to sweet talk the granny at the door like I do. Also you can't just walk up to the bar and get a drink, you have to hand your money to a fella named Dick Cheney (for real) and he'll buy your drink for you. Now for the prices... Bottles are $1.50, cans are a dollar (used to be .75 cents) drinks like Crown & Coke $2.25, shots are $2 every night all night. Live country bands on the weekends, and they used to have some killer hold 'em cash games and a few other cash games until the lawdogs got wind and put an end to it. Craziest part is it's an all ages type atmosphere. I did not know this the first time I went and my buddy and I took a group of girls home that I came to learn a few weeks later were still in High School. So check ID's and vagina lines if you meet a girl there, It can get pretty packed and crazy in there and I've never once seen a fight break out, the worst thing in life would be to get banned from the only cheap place to drink in a 5 county radius. The other place you can drink in Harrison charges $7 for a Makers, then if you want to add a little water to it, that's another 75 cents for a mixed drink tax. Going tomorrow night! Driving down after a meeting in Springfield and gonna tear it up then drive drunk on back roads with slutty chicks down to the Buffalo National River. Moose Lodge.... bucket list.

My best friends' wife worked next to a gay bar and he would go meet her to walk her home at night when she had a lot of cash. He would go to the gay bar and get a beer and $1 for Budweiser or $2 imports. So if you can swallow (no pun) your pride go to a gay bar.

Ms. Mae's is definitely up there. The Blind Tiger that was in Baton Rouge was probably the cheapest in BR before it closed.

The places I all go to in the city have qt most $5 cocktails. I feel $20-30 to get drunk is fair. I remember going to the Texas Club in BR when they had "any Drink any Coin" and getting plastered, I don't want to drink like that ever again.

They call it that, but its really just $15 for a large mixed drink. I can go to Finn's and get a 2oz single for $4.50. With better atmosphere.

Have you been to Roosters lately? I was there Friday and I couldn't believe how expensive everything was. 5 bucks for a pint of bud light..maybe the pitchers are only on certain nights?..and their food prices were INSANE. It used to be a cool little place now it's just ridiculous.
