The line is either moving in my favor or against me. I don't think about it any further than that.
There have just been too many instances of me taking a line at, say, -5, and then watching it move down to -2 right before the game, and then watching the favorite win by 15.
I guess I'm not necessarily convinced that sharps are actually that sharp. So it isn't something I consider.

I just was not confident in WKU tonight. I know a lot of people were on them in this thread (though sometimes that is bad), and was gonna join them. Then I saw the line movement. Didn't like it, so I didn't lock in the bet. Simple as that.
Normally, I'm with you. There were a few games earlier this season where I had some late steams against my line, but I was confident and it hit. Others didn't.
Bottom line, I'm nowhere near a great handicapper, and if I see some late sharp money coming in against a team I liked, I'm probably gonna lay off unless I'm super confident.

If I were you, I wouldn't even mess with the third prong of it (the over/under play). UF and Bama sounds like a fine two game teaser. Methinks Bama and Baylor also sounds like a fine two game teaser, and might possibly be the first teaser that I put in all year.*

i havent teased all year either. im trying to decide the 3rd leg. maybe UNDER in LSU game, WV ( not great number tho), baylor, ND, or Wisconsin

You're cool. If i came across holier than thou it was unintended. I'm not quitting my day job either. I have good weeks and bad weeks.
There have been instances where I got talked out of a game I liked and then the game I liked hit easily....and that just royally pissed me off. So I try to never let it happen. I like the idea of being able to know whether I have an acumen for this stuff or not...even when signs point in the direction of "doesn't have acumen".

If Toledo hadn't moved up like crazy, that would have been a fantastic one tease down. I'm not great with over/under, but here are a couple spread teases that look moderately okay.

Thoughts on a teaser with aTm -2 and under 86? I think La Tech is overrated and is just a trendy upset pick. I think aTm's defense is better than people are giving them credit for, and Tech might not get to 30.
