Just a point of information. Our Constitution does not say "to provide for the general welfare", it says to "promote" the general welfare.
And there's a big difference between the two.

I missed the thread because I was out and had to watch recorded.
So I'm late. But I am so pissed at the second to last question on Catholics and abortion. Abortion I understand them talking about. But to come at it from the religious standpoint made it the worst damn question I've ever heard asked. Especially seeing the candidates try to pander. As a catholic and a woman, bull shite.

Does anyone know if there has been a lawsuit brought on this one thing yet? Seems like it would be something the USSC would knock down. Not sure they can challenge specifics of the health care bill but that certainly seems like something that could end up before the court.
