The last 2 episodes of the first season setup the rest of the next 3 seasons.. but I would agree with you on the first season and I am one of the biggest fans of the show now.

Btw, I would gander to say for someone like you, going back and watching the last 12 episodes of season 1, after seeing the last 2 episodes of the season, would be really good for you.. will definitely bring the show to a new light for you.

Man, I loved it from the start.
I will say this though...any time you have to watch more than a full first season of a show to "get into it" or enjoy it, it's prolly not for you.
I'd say with Fringe, if you're more than halfway through the first season and you still don't like it, you prolly won't.

Most of the time this is true, but I really enjoy the genre and like I said IMDB has it at an 8.5.
I have always usually enjoyed any show over 8, especially if it is a genre I enjoy.
At the same time I can definitely see good things about the show. I think the characters and acting are very good. It was just the plot and pilot season budget CGI that I really don't like.
