| Obama: Fundamental issues of the election are still in my favor (Posted on 10/10/12 at 6:48 pm)
quote:
President Obama on Wednesday said despite his “bad night” at the debate and Mitt Romney’s subsequent spike in the polls, the fundamentals of the presidential race are still in his favor
quote:
“Well it's not the first time I've had a bad night,” Obama will said according to a transcript from a pre-recorded interview set to air Wednesday night on ABC’s "World News with Diane Sawyer." “But I think what's important is the, the fundamentals of what this race is about haven't changed. You know, Governor Romney went to a lotta trouble to try to hide what his positions are.”
quote:
“You know, one thing, you know maybe this is because I played a lotta sports when I was a kid, and still do,” Obama continued. “If you have a bad game, you just move on. You look forward to the next one. And it makes you that much more determined. The difference between this and sports is that the stakes are so high.”

Ryan is going to clean Boobie's arse tomorrow night, and Mitt will expand on his debate victory next week in the town hall session and blow this thing out of the water. Obama will want to destroy all town halls at that point. He won't have anything left to do but pack his shite and move out.

This is 100% true. Romney's positions, especially economically, are a total train wreck. It will be interesting to see if they are highlighted in the next debate. I'm not so sure they will be since it is a foreign policy debate.

I agree. I like to get into the manusha of single issues and this is the one reason why I will vote for him.

I wish I wasn't. I hate politics and have never favored one party over so it has taken some really ridiculous economic plans to finally make me pick a side. And hopefully it is just temporary and I can go back to being indifferent between the two parties soon.

you always defend obama. Never seen you say anything bad about the guy. So please, explain why Romney's economic plan is ridiculous?

We have been through this... But, IMO... His plan is something along the lines of elect me, businesses will love me and start making it rain (spending money). That is really about it. He doesn't have much else to say. The thing that irks me (besides having no plan), is wanting to put more unpaid for tax cuts in place which is a large part of what has got us in a fricked up position to begin with. So yay. Lets do it again, do it bigger, and see how fricked we can get. As for defending Obama, his plan has sensibility and balance. Cut some, tax some, TRY and reduce the debt/deficit. Better alternative than elect me and hope and pray the economy explodes with growth from businesses opening their wallets to make up for $5T in lost revenue the next decade...
