Exactly! It's not like the Cards are cheating or giving themselves an advantage by barely squeaking into the playoffs.
It makes their journey to the World Series tougher. They aren't doing themselves any favors.
What's awesome is that it shows you how great they are...that they can play alright in the regular season and then simply turn on the "champion" switch to embarrass the best teams.

I was talkin to some fellow St. Louis fans the other night and they were saying we should trade Motte bc he is to shaky and use either Rosenthal or Joe Kelly as our closer. I really like both Rosenthal and Kelly and they each have potential but I told my friends they were morons. Am I correct or am I as ignorant as they seem to me?
