But yes, the p/gb has drastically fallen. In may it was around $1/gb, and now it's falling closer to $0.50/gb

This. FYI, 120 and 128 SSDs are exactly the same. The controller saves 8GBs for speed issues, keeps Read/Write speeds up after 50% of the drive is used.
