He blew off the fact that one of his buddies beat up his ex-girlfriend . . . I witnessed the whole thing.

yeah, knew then and there he was the type of person who would look the other way instead of doing what was right. Shocker, raging liberal always "talking" about what is wrong in the world.

The first time I saw her after we broke up. It was awkward as frick and I could tell that a, I was never getting another shot with her, and b, we were never going to be friends again. It took me a while to move on afterwards, but I grew a lot for it and it ended up being just what I needed. I'm a happy, well-adjusted adult now because of it.

No. Always let the girl end it. Unless you want her back.

I guess walking in on her hooking up with an Italian was a good sign.

When I drove up and all my stuff was in the front yard.
" get that crap outta my yard!"
I said, " I will, when it quits burning".

Same here but about ten years worth. Thank God I had a good divorce lawyer and she didn't.

This, but we weren't quick so lucky. Married 27 years, together about 30. Those last ten were pure hell.

Found wife had called the same guy 10 times a day for a month.

A couple of weeks later she calls and tells me she's pregnant with his child.

Doesn't get much clearer than that.

I came to LSU and realized that I had more in common with half of the guys I met daily than with my SO.

It just fell apart one night. I came home from work and my beagle had chewed her leg clean off. Tried patching it up but she just wouldn't hold air anymore.

I read this like 3 times before it clicked..
