I researched ECHO, but I have a STIHL. I finally found a similar model but I guess I missed the hole they say is there. Pretty damn sure I looked there and poked around with my welding rod.
You'd think it'd be easier to navigate those sites for manuals since they always get thrown away. IDK what model I have, hell I didn't even know the brand.

The mosquitoes were biting and it was getting dark. I had all of the tools and I fricked with it as long as I could. I ended up taking pruners to the shite at the roots instead of blasting them with the saw blade. The weedeater string was no match for these frickers. Got it all done, I'm just curious now.
I'm a goddamn macgyver, there just wasn't a hole where there was supposed to be. Unless I'm crazy.
