We had the same argument, literally for the 12th time, with the same points and counterpoints. Every previous time was just a stalemate until the make-up sex, but the last time it was obvious we were both just stalling.

Too bad you cant use funny memes and gifs IRL arguements

You will slowly be pushed away. Examples: Less texting/phone calls. Excuses not to hang out etc...

I can relate to this. I can deal with him not choosing me, but choosing drugs over your own son-unforgivable.

Fighting over stupid shite.

Always having to be right, me or her, went both ways.

We both changed into completely different people. We were lucky to get out so early.

So, how long did that transformation take?

When he ceased all communication with me, I kind of figured it was over.

When I started law school. So 6 months, I guess. It's hard to juggle school with finding a job with extracurriculars with a SO who doesn't understand the stress of it all.

Yikes.

I have ceased communication with people I went on a few dates with and decided I'm not interested in taking it further, but I think if I ceased communication with a serious boyfriend (like Jones), he'd think I died or something and come investigate.

Was there a big fight or something that led up to this? Or did you think everything was great and he just stopped?

ETA: I think it is a dick move either way, just curious.

Same. There's probably a degree of karma when it comes to pulling this kind of stuff.

Starting stupid fights..

Saying stuff she couldn't take back because she was "hurt".

It all boils down to how you feel when you spend time with that person.

When you feel worse with them then you do without them, it's time to move on.

In hindsight, the restraining order should have been a big clue.

When she stopped talking to me and acted like she didn't know me.

It took me a couple of days though. But I was like "Okay, this is definitely rejection."
