No frickin way. She's not making 50k, and even if she is, there is no frickin way he's making 80k. He's probably somewhere around 50-55k. That would mean she'd have to bank 75-80k. Complete bull shite.

If you move to NYC, don't live in Brooklyn, Hoboken etc. Suck it up, pay the ridiculous rent and live in the city. Don't half arse that shite.

No need for sandy vagina. Austin gets pumped up as something special, and there really isn't that much more going on than any other decent sized town. Houston gets hated on by people who have probably never been there.
Houston is quite literally the worst big city in america. i can say this unequivocally. it has zero character. it's spread out. dull. the only salvation it has is its restaurants. oh yeah, Orlando is pretty close to as bad.

The only city I've ever been to that I could smell the B.O. getting off the plane. Seriously though, it's a fun city to visit, but I could see it getting old.

Austin is always on the top of the list when it comes to top places to live for young professionals. Tons of stuff to do but extremely competitive job market.
That has been my opinion... One of the reasons I have not moved there is that for the increase in cost of living, I would want to make quite a bit more there than I am here in Houston to maintain my lifestyle. Last time I visited Austin, the Austin LSU group did welcome me with open arms to watch the Auburn game with them. That was until I started yelling, cursing, and banging stuff... then they gave me dirty looks.

i spend a week there every other month. it's beautiful in the summers (and by summer i mean, the month of august), miserable the rest of the year. if you like liberal attitudes, delicious craft beers, cheap gourmet food, and coffee move there. if you like sunshine, not being around transients, hipsters and artists all the time, do not.

take a look for apartments in williamsburg, and then, take a look at apartments in lower east side, chelsea and tribeca. we're not comparing upper west here. regardless, the point is that the dude should live in manhattan if he can swing it.
