re: New ARG poll out of Ohio - Willard takes the lead

3 things: 1. Obama has been tearing Romney apart for the last few months. Most negative shite I'v ever seen.

2. Romney has been awkward at time and has been playing things close to the vest. People developed a pretty negative opinion of the guy.

3. Because of the media and the way he carries himself Obama is viewed as a God. He literally could not do wrong.

The second Romney opened his mouth he had the nation's attention. He proved to tons and tons of people that what they thought about him was completely wrong. Now everyone is seeing Obama for the piece of shite that he is and Romney is shining through his bull shite.

So here is a question, how important are the last 2 debates? Are these people likely to leave Romney if he were to "lose" the debates?

I'm stunned that people are so whimsical with their votes that they would change after one debate.
Folks were not fully tuned in. I've said it all along. All this BS about only 1-2% undecided was/is hogwash. Actual number is at least 10% and likely closer to 15%. The debate moved opinions in the 15% middle. The next 2 POTUS debates could do the same in an opposite direction. This term, the VP debates will not move polls 1 sliver.

Perhaps a lot of people just needed a reason to abandon the Obama myth and accept that he is an incompetent empty suit. The debates were a message the media couldn't spin.

Axelrod had done a masterful job of painting Romney. I believe much of the country thought Thurston Howell III would stroll out on stage with his yacht cap and martini. Instead what they got was a black Gilligan on the other side .

It continually amazes me how many people have not made up their minds by this point. Anyway...

Looking again at the Electoral Map, if Romney wins Ohio, Florida, VA, NC and Missouri...

It all comes down to Iowa. (assuming Obama wins Wisconsin, Colorado and Nevada).

Rasmussen completed a poll today showing Nevada in a dead heat.

I think they'll be HUGE. One because with twitter and everything like it now people are so reactionary. It's almost a joke. And two I feel like the foreign policy debate is another good chance for Romney to step up and be presidential while making Obama seem weak. End on a good note and Romney has it locked up. Stumble in a couple debates and it'll most likely be Obama that wins.

IMO

It was the First time everyone got a chance to see Osama for how inadequate and weak he is. I mean the man could barely look Romney in the eye. It was ridiculous. He showed practically zero strength as a leader and there was no media or MSNBC to step in during that time and make up excuses. It was a crystal clear view as the mistake we put into office.

I agree but apparently the folks who responded to the post-debate poll, conducted Thursday through Sunday, by Langer Research Associates for ABC News and the Washington Post live in some sort of a bubble.

Just released this morning, it shows Obama's Favorability rating at 55%, the highest it has been in 30 months, since April of 2010 in the ABC/Washington Post polls.

Obama --- 55% Favorable, 42% Unfavorable

Romney --- 47% Favorable (a new high for him in their polls) 51% Unfavorable

Completely flies in the face of the Favorability trends in other polls.

845 RV's, Dem +7

Release says Romney's post-debate bump "subsided" after one day.

So the polls are no longer rigged when it may be some positive news for Mittens ?

This poll was +9 D.

What would guess it would be if it was +4 D?

Brilliant analysis sir.
