My fiancé and I are looking to get the hell out of baton rouge and move to a new city. I'm a civil engineer an she's a wedding coordinator. We mainly want to get out of the south before we ultimately move back here once we have kids. Open to moving out of the country as well. Any suggestions?
Nashville, San Diego, boulder...

Denver is where all the SEC kids "wanting to get out of the South" go. Do something different. Go to Detroit. I actually enjoyed Milwaukee the time I was there.

good man!!!
i had the same mindset and moved away when looking for a job even.
ended up settling near chattanooga, TN. I really like it here. Clean, safe (er than louisiana), beautiful scenery, and really nice people. Best decision i ever made was getting out of BR.
