| In a woman, assuming equal looks, is education or intelligence more important? (Posted on 10/9/12 at 1:09 pm)
Would you date a woman with only a h.s. education? Would you marry a woman with only a h.s. education? What's more important - intelligence or education? I know some smart, funny women who only have a h.s. degree. I know some real duds who have college degrees. And yes, I know we'd all date an adult OT 9 if she had dropped out of Kindercare.

intelligence is faaaaaaar more important. I know a lot of very well educated that act dumb as a post in conversation and talk like valley girls with glazed over looks on their faces. I know girls who didn't go to college who have a sharp wit and can keep up with me in a conversation. Intelligence is far more important, imo.

Intelligence is of paramount importance in everything. Generally very bright people have earned at least a B.S., I don't recognize undergraduate B.A. degrees as an accomplishment.

Why? (I'm being serious when I say this). Are you saying if you met a world traveled model (most of whom don't have college educations) that you would have no long-term interest?

college degree is a must, because she would be looked down upon by my friends later on in life i would prefer her to work too. i dont want a stay at home wife, unless im making serious money... which one day i will... but until the kids pop out, she is working full time, and once they are back in school, she is back to working... none of this sitting on your arse drinking wine all day, complaining about how hard life it

Generally speaking the two go hand in hand IMO. Personally, I want my future children to strive for a college education and being that they will look up to their parents I want their mother to be college educated.

My wife did not finish college and makes more than most college graduates at our age So yes, intelligence is much more important than education
