I really don't have time to read all 34 pages of this, so I am just going to ask this here...I heard that the account holder of the iPhones are being copied with text messages from all users under their name with the new upgrade...is thie true and why would they start such crap??
Would you care to clarify? Are you trying to ask if the account holder gets a copy of all texts of every iPhone 5 on the account? If so then that would be one hell of a glitch...but I have not had that problem

What phone did you sell and what did they give you?

How much did you get for it? Was it a 4 or a 4S?

Depending on where you live, you will get the most money from craigslist. You get cash and meet in a local spot rather than shipping and having to wait for funds to clear paypal and pay the shitty fees. I've sold all my old iDevices in no time and for all the money on Craigslist. However, I live in a nice Atlanta burb. If you live in the ghetto or in the middle of nowhere it will be tougher.

That's it? You know people are selling 4S's for like 400 at the very least on eBay right?

Traded in a 32 GB iPhone 4S yesterday to Radio Shack & got $206. Paid $161 for an Otterbox and an iPhone 5.

Can someone please give me an easy way to transfer music to a new computer from an iPhone 4? I do have an external hard drive but my computer is crashed so I guess it's not much use. Any help is appreciated.

Backup and restore from iCloud. That's the easy way. You're welcome.

Sound advice but don;t you think Ebay would be even better? The market of buyers is HUGE compared to Craigslist.

unlocking the phone prior to selling on eBay will get you a bunch more money. If the contract is up on the phone, they should unlock it for free and then you can sell that shite for thousands of pennies

You don't need one to do the backup. Of course you have to have a working computer to get your music onto a computer. Google iPhone backup and restore and do the same for iTunes and you'll have your answer. Good luck with your computer issues.

When restoring from iCloud, do you get all of your apps and folders back in their same places?

Question: My new company is distributing Ipads to the sales force. I have to get a new phone. It would make no sense to get an android phone if they are giving iPads out would it. Might as well be on one platform?
