I liked Rosalynn....Starbuck I can see the beef, but looking back, she did play the tom boy,slut,best pilot in the galaxy role well I guess. Hard to walk that line as a character, hot enough to want to bone, but not hot enough to make her being the best pilot unbelievable.
Rosalynn seemed believable as well.

I didn't like Dee's storyline...what are we supposed to come away thinking about her?

I'll second Starbuck/Rosalynn being worthless; I think Lee was actually almost pitch perfect, though, for what he was supposed to be-- essentially a military orphan with a Daddy doesn't love me complex that the end of the world does not have time to coddle.
I really did like the Dee arc, too-- it brought home that it was still the end of the world, in most ways, for most of them. That's not something anyone could just shrug off, and leave behind them, even if they're on to another galaxy.

I'm surprised THAT guy hasn't shown up in this thread to tell us how horrible the show is. I love Battlestar Galactica and even really liked the finale. Never understood what people's problem with it was, but this is not the thread to get into that.

Starbuck was annoying with some redeeming qualities. Roslyn just got worse as the series went on. Such a hypocritical bitch. 
As for Dee, I think she represented a very realistic response to experiencing something like that. She was always the gentle, good girl, but fragile. In the end it was just too much for her to deal with anymore and she broke.

Yeah, I don't mind Starbuck and Roselyn was great, I do agree that Fat Lee was the best character

I loved, loved the original one when I was a little kid. The original Cylons were bad ass.
Haven't watched the new one.

Yeah, it hasn't held up against time but I loved it when I was little.
The Cylons are still my favorite. They had this cool robotic voice. They're the first thing I think of any time I hear the words "Battlestar Galactica."
